Delete your account
bananana.dev, by CTF Designs, LLC
There are two kinds of account, and each is deleted where it lives.
Your bananana.dev account
The account you set up brains with on this website. Sign in, open Account, and choose Delete your account under Your data. It's removed at once, with your sign-in records; if you're the Owner, the organization and its brain registrations go too (make an admin the Owner first if you want them to keep it). Your brains keep running on your machines with everything on them.
Your account on a dashboard
The account you sign in to the app and a company's dashboard (its "brain") with lives on that dashboard, not with bananana.dev. That's where it is deleted, and you can ask in either of these ways:
Ask your dashboard's Owner
The people who run your dashboard can remove you under Users: open your entry, press Edit, then Remove. You're signed out everywhere at once.
Or email us
Email roman@ctfdesigns.com from the address you sign in with, and say which dashboard it's on. We delete the account, or pass the request to that dashboard's Owner, within 30 days and confirm by email.
What is deleted
- Your account: name, email address, password (stored only as a hash), role, and your Google or Apple sign-in link.
- Your sessions, your second-factor settings, and your conversations with the dashboard's AI assistant.
- The phones registered for your notifications and your notification choices. bananana.dev's push service forgets a phone as soon as you sign out of the app on it, or when Apple or Google report the app removed.
What is kept
The dashboard's audit log, a security record of actions such as opening a terminal or changing a setting, keeps the entries for what you did, with your email address, for as long as that dashboard keeps its log. It can't be edited, so a security record stays trustworthy.
Data on your phone
Signing out of the app, or uninstalling it, removes what the app keeps on your phone.
